Assignments are a continuation and the foreproducts of our gatherings. Inspired by the project Learning to Love You More by Miranda July and Harrell Fletcher, we aim to ignite creative thoughts and processes by excluding them from the rushing schedules of academia and capitalist labor.

Every month, we construct an assignment with the facilitator of that month’s gathering. A couple of days before the gathering, we ask you to upload the work you are willing to showcase. You can add a description, or a longer text, along with your work. In the gatherings, we will expand the conversations through these works, and create conversations that value the creative process rather than the discipline that structures them. We will talk about how these works relate to our academic or daily labor.

If you are interested, you can turn your work into a longer piece. Which will be published on the upcoming Hibernaculum blog.
