Who are We?

We are two queer researchers, academic workers, nature kids, and aspiring artists striving to open a space for creativity and freedom amidst brutal structures of academia, capitalism, and ongoing ecocide. We created the Hibernaculum to share our musings with others, to be inspired, and to inspire. We have a long road to go — but we are hopeful. By igniting sincere conversations and compassionate criticism, we aim to gather in our own time, in harmony with seasonal repose, outside of the clockwork of capitalism.
